Meet Our Executive Director

Meet Gwendolyn Dowell, Bluefield Housing Authority's New Executive Director.

Gwendolyn was named as the Executive Director of the Bluefield Housing Authority in early 2022 by the board of commissioners.

Gwendolyn has served with the Bluefield Housing Authority for 37 years in a variety of roles, but most recently as Director of Finance.

A lifetime resident of Bluefield, her experience and expertise in the affordable housing sphere and her love for the Bluefield community made her the ideal candidate for Executive Director.
